Georgia statute provides option of filing suit directly against insurers of motor carriers.

(Ga. App., 2002). A motor carrier's insurer may be sued under the direct action statute in any county where the company has an agent or place of doing business, any county where such agent or place of doing business was located at the time the cause of action accrued or the contract was made, out of which the cause of action arose.
